Proposed rules for accounts, listings, vehicle information and responsible use of Carbomi.
The marketplace
Carbomi helps people discover vehicles, publish listings and communicate with sellers. A listing is information supplied by its seller, with any available evidence shown separately. The platform does not own every listed vehicle, inspect every vehicle or hold vehicle sale funds.
Accounts and access
Use contact details you control and keep sign-in codes, authenticators and recovery codes private. Use only accounts, organisations and permissions you are authorised to access. Confirming a phone number or Google account establishes access to that contact method; it does not certify a vehicle or seller.
Listings and uploaded content
Publish only content you have permission to share and vehicles you have authority to advertise. Describe price, mileage, condition and ownership accurately. Do not submit stolen images, deceptive claims or another person’s private information. Photos are processed into optimised versions; uploaded originals are not intended as permanent or public copies.
Checks and price information
Read the source, date and status of each check. Seller declarations and missing evidence are not independent verification. Car-value ranges describe asking prices from available comparable listings, not guaranteed sale proceeds, inspections or valuations for finance or insurance. Limited data or an unavailable service may prevent a result.
Buying and selling safely
Meet in a public place and never pay in advance. Independently inspect the vehicle and confirm documents, ownership and payment arrangements before a transaction. Do not treat a listing, contact reveal, sample photo or price comparison as a guarantee. A vehicle sale and its transfer require the buyer and seller to make their own checks and arrangements.
Responsible use and moderation
Do not spam, impersonate, upload malware, probe other accounts or bypass access and usage limits. Use approved API access for authorised integrations. Content or accounts may be limited where the applicable moderation rules require it. Use available report, appeal and support routes for a review; do not publish another person’s private data as evidence.
Optional services and charges
Some functions depend on service availability, third-party providers and separate consent. Review any service description, price and provider conditions before choosing a paid feature. A provider connection does not guarantee delivery or a successful transaction. Any commercial offer and its applicable terms must be disclosed before a charge is accepted.
Final terms and updates
Before these terms become effective, the owner must approve the legal operator, eligibility rules, commercial policies, governing jurisdiction and dispute process. Those decisions are not inferred from the marketplace’s country focus. The approved document must identify its version and effective date. This draft does not record legal acceptance merely because a visitor opens it.
